Privacy & Security
Privacy refers to the information we obtain about you, and the use we make of it in the course of our business.

Your privacy is our concern. We exercise every means possible to ensure your sensitive information remains safe and secure. We will never sell our customer database. It will only be used by Northwoods at Home for sale notification and new product offerings.


Returns & Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it must be returned within 30 days. Returns received after 30 days will qualify for exchange or merchandise credit only. Please note you are responsible for the safe return of merchandise and for all shipping costs. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Customized orders and personalized items are non-refundable.

When returning an item, re-pack it carefully in the original packing materials and pre-pay shipping. For your protection, and to receive full credit, you must insure your shipment for the value of the merchandise. If you paid with a credit card, product charges will be credited to your credit card account. If you paid by check or money order, we will issue a refund check once your check has cleared the bank. Additionally, all merchandise can be returned to our storefront location at 507 South Third Street in Geneva, Illinois

If an item is received damaged, please notify us within 24 hours so that a claim can be processed. Please hold the original carton and damaged merchandise for inspection; otherwise no claim, replacement or refund can be honored. It would be advisable to report the damage to the courier, or to refuse the shipment and have it returned.

Standard ground delivery time averages between 7-10 business days. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will let you know the expected delivery date through email within 48 hours of placing your order. If ordered by mail, you will receive notification if the delay is over 30 days. Our standard carriers require a physical street address and telephone number. Items ordered together do not always arrive together. All standard delivery charges will be applied to the first of multiple shipments.

A non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of ordering a custom manufactured product. Since a piece is being made custom to your specifications, made to order products cannot be cancelled unless it is done within 3 days of placing the original order.

Q: How can I order products from your website?
A: Click here to browse our online store. Select the items you wish to purchase to create your own shopping cart. To place your order you will need to fill in your customer and shipping information, confirm your order, and complete payment through PayPal, Inc. All payments are managed by PayPal, Inc. using their secure payment processing web server.

Q: How long will it take to process my order?
A: Northwoods at Home orders received Monday through Friday are processed and shipped within 24 hours on all in-stock merchandise. Weekend orders are processed the next business day.

Q: How do I track my order?
A: Once your order has shipped we will send you an email confirmation with your tracking number. You can then go to FedEx.com to track your order.

Q: How do I change or cancel my order?
A: To make any changes or to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at 630-232-9464. If your order has not yet shipped, we will be happy to cancel your order for you or edit your order to your specifications. If your order has already shipped, you will need to return any items you no longer want back to us for a refund less the shipping charges. If you would like to add to your order after your order has shipped, we will be happy to assist you with any additional items you would like to purchase and have them sent in a separate shipment.

Q: I am interested in an “In Store Only” product. How do I place an order?
A: “In Store Only” products are items that we have available in our showroom or are available to order in person. These items can not be purchased through our website due customization as well as size and shipping issues. If you are unable to visit our showroom please contact us for more details.

Q: Will my name and address be sold to other companies?
A: No. It is our policy to protect our customers' privacy. We will never release your email, mailing address nor phone number to other companies or organizations.
